MR. THANAKRIT PORNTANASAWAT

Thanakrit is a licensed lawyer and notarial services attorney. Before joining us at LAFS, he practiced for more than a decade in an international law firm in Bangkok, primarily as an immigration lawyer.

In this context, he has significant practical experience in dealing with often complex applications for long stay visas for expatriates who reside in Thailand, including Non-Immigrant B visas (for business) and Non-Immigrant O visas (based on marriage or retirement), as well as Elite and LTR type visas.

He regularly advises on and deals with applications for permanent residency, Thai citizenship and Resident Certificates.

Thanakrit is also an expert in Thai corporate law and regularly advises on the formation and maintenance of private limited companies (including VAT registration), the registration and promotion of BOI companies, applications for foreign business licenses and applications for work permits.

Having assisted in excess of a thousand clients during his many years of practice, Thanakrit brings a wealth of practical experience and knowledge in effectively and successfully dealing with Thai government authorities to LAFS.
